competition

As he has in previous outings, Jimmy Jact Cash interrupted the opening ceremony of "Darkest Days", a sponsored event from the wrestling promotion Fight The World (FTW), held on October 7th in Ronkonkoma, NY. After liberating the microphone from the ring announcer Chris Norman, Cash proceeded to lay down the Jimmy Jact Cash Invitational challenge once again, offering any wrestler in the locker room the opportunity to enter the squared circle and meet him face to face.

Cash noted that last month's challengers left much to be desired in the way of competition, and that he was growing tired of driving to Ronkonkoma once a month to barely break a sweat. Incredibly, Cash demanded that Hulk Hogan be brought out to the ring for a match.

Instead, he was greeted by the up and coming youngster Sammy Shields, and quite rudely for that matter.

jj$2Unfortunately for Mr. Shields, this was about as much offense as the youngster would offer up for Cash, as once the man from the M.O.B. was made aware of his presence, he set about beating the young man from pillar to post, in and out of the ring.

The challenge was over with in minutes, and Jimmy Jact Cash had turned away another foe. It's becoming an all too familiar scenario for the superstar. "You know, I get to this dump, I change my clothes, I say hello to a few of the boys, and I sit by myself for an hour, hour and a half. When I hear the crowd, and the opening announcements, I can't wait around another minute. Competition is in my blood. I'm a main event guy, but there's no main event around here. Jake Roberts? I've beat that guy ten times over. Balls Mahoney? He was something in ECW a long time ago, but now?"

Cash is referring to the manner in which he steals the opening segment. Last month the opening contest was slated to be a match between Joey Ettell and "The Master" Wes Draven, two young and hungry superstars making their way up the ranks of FTW. It was Ettell who first came out, wondering what was happening to his spot on the card, followed by Draven. Both met an untimely end to their night, thankfully not an end to their careers.

"That Draven kid is pretty good. He gave me a little more offense than the first slob. But that flippy stuff only gets you so far. Maybe in the movies kid, but when you're in the ring with the M.O.B., you better bring something more than a flippy flip. You'll end up in a hospital bed with a broken neck."

That night at Darkest Days, Sammy Shields had an opponent for the opening match. His opponent watched through the curtain with disdain as Cash methodically tore Shields apart. Due to the match being ruined by Cash's antics, FTW officials requested that the original opponent remain anonymous until they decide how to handle the situation. They didn't want Cash taking control of the show any further, and begged the man to remain in the back. But the grappler did have these words for Cash.

"This guy is unbelievable. That was supposed to be my match. Cash talks a good game, but soon someone is going to put an end to this nonsense. He thinks he's the only superstar here in FTW. I think he has more problems than he knows about. Hey, I might be the guy to give this loud mouth the competition he's looking for. We'll see. If this keeps up, I won't remain silent for long."

Back in the ring, Cash put on a display of power, using his creative variety of thunderous body and shoulder slams to completely dismantle Sammy Shields. After a few bone jarring moments in the Ca$h Clutch, an apostrophe would be stamped onto the end of this night's invitational challenge. It may be a very long time before Sammy Shields challenges anyone in FTW again.

"Sammy Shields is a stupid, stupid man", said Cash. "But he's a lucky man. Lucky that I'm in a good mood. Lucky that he walked away on his own accord. I could of put that kid in a hospital, or worse, on a cold slab in a funeral parlor. But I'm a giving man, and I like to see guts, and Shields showed me something by getting in the ring with me. That's more than I can say for half the guys on this roster. Trying to find some competition around here is harder than pulling a peanut shell out of my back tooth. Where's Reefer? Where's the clown? These guys were too afraid to even show up tonight!"

Cash gets some looks from some of the other wrestlers in the locker room when he speaks in this fashion, but he appears to care little. He's dressed and ready to exit minutes after his match is over. "I've got nothing to hang around here for. I got people waiting for me. The party doesn't start until the Cash is in the bank brother, remember that. Maybe if FTW can muster up some competition, I'll come back next month and give the people of Ronkonkoma a match they'll remember. Because my name aint Jimmy Jact The Checks In The Mail brother, it aint Jimmy Jact here's an IOU, it's Jimmy Jact Cash, and don't forget it!".

As of now, FTW officials refuse to comment on this situation, but promised that a resolution would be reached shortly.
